the Capital Amman – Jordan from 18th – 21st October, under the Patronage of H.E.

Engineering Directorate.
Phar/MedExpo includes all aspects of the healthcare industry in the Middle East
to open new gates of business opportunities not just in the Jordanian Market but
also to cover the Iraqi and the Palestinian Markets, this is of course related
to the importance of Jordan location as it is located in the heart of the Middle
East, border neighbors are Saudi Arabia, Syria, Iraq, Palestine and Egypt, also
taking into consideration that Jordan is the only gate for Iraq to do business
and deals.
Not to forget that, and according to a worldwide statistics, Jordan considered
number one in the medical tourism in the Arab Region, which leads to open
several regional offices and new business in the medical fields.
With the current efforts to restore the infrastructure of the Iraqi medical
sector, large amounts of medical materials, supplies, devices, techniques, tools
and medicine, which constitute both infrastructure and superstructure of the
healthcare industry in Iraq, are required in order to bring back this sector to
the level of its peers in the surrounding area and the world.
In fact, part of Phar/MedExpo 2010 will be devote to the Iraqi market especially
after His Majesty King Abdullah II recent decision and instructions to
facilitate the entry of the Iraqi businessmen and investors, as Jordan has
become a point of convergence for the Iraqi professionals, government officials,
wholesalers, dealers and distributors.
The Management of Middle East Gate Expo also took into consideration the major
role of the Palestinian market, which drew up the plans and programs to address
those obstacles and difficulties facing the medical sectors, that were caused by
the bas conditions in the region, leading to confront many of the fundamental
challenges that have threatened its ability to continue to perform its functions
as well as advancement in the health sector, but with the cooperation and
coordination of major world association and NOG's they managed to continue
functioning without any interruption.
Therefore, it is a real chance to meet the decision makers of both markets plus
the Jordanian Market under on roof, and we are confident that you will achieve
your goals in accessing the Iraqi, Jordanian and Palestinian markets and not to
miss out the opportunity to reap financial benefits of their investments in the
medical sector.
